Seriously?

I can not take a blog seriously when it looks like this. Seriously people, why? Do you think it looks cute? Is it because sometimes you want to make sure people read the important part of the sentence? Or is it because if it is another color, the reader will know you are a little fun or spontaneous? Especially when it is impossible to read against the color of the background? Don't forget to change the fonts! You are so silly and so random! And the Italics? What are those supposed to do? Do you want me to find these part important or just fancy? (Why do you make the words in parenthesis bigger? Doesn't that defeat the point of parenthesis?) Also, what is the point of the bizarre formatting? Ooh, you right from the center, or all the way to the left! You are original! You do not have to follow the rules! But make sure you add a giant winky face to know that you are just kidding! ;) You don't want to lose readers.

It hurts my eyes and my head and I usually just skip to the pictures.

LOL @ SURVIVOR GABON

LOL @ Personal jokes wih people who don't read your blog. DON'T YOU WISH YOU KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.

The latest Bugle episode refuses to download and I'm super angry. When you are not feeling your best, even the tiniest upsets can cause you to explode.

There are multiple things going wrong right now. Murphy's Law all up in here.

Basically, I made a post because I was thinking I needed to start updating more and now it's just become one of those I'm So Pissy posts. It's what journals are for, but blogging is the new journal except you force people to read. YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH MY FEELINGS TO FIND OUT WHAT I DID TODAY. Weird that blogs are the new journals. There are stories of people going through attics and discovering journals of past ancestors. Does that mean that in the future, people will be doing google searches and find ancestors' blogs?

2:38 am and I'm not even worried about going to sleep. I'm not worried if my parents wake up and come out and get mad. I'm not worried about having healthy sleep habits. Nothing about me is worried about that. It's good to have one thing in your life that you aren't worried about. It's a small triumph.

PS- Weirdest epidose of the Daily Show. It must be becase of all the crazies in one place. A convention, if you will.

It's been 1 month to the day since my last post. Ultra fail on my part.

So what's been going on in the past month? Uhhhhh... Not much, I guess.

My friend came to visit from England. It was mostly just a rest stop between her other stops. That's just fine. I like resting. We did go to Sunset beach for my dad's birthday, and on the way there we stopped at Mission San Juan Bautista. I haven't been there since I was 10. Good to now that nothing's changed. Oh except for not they charge you. Well.. we peaked through windows. The day she left, we went to Falafel's Drive-In which, if you don't know, is THE GREATEST Felafel place ever. Ever. It was featured on the Food Network show "Diners. Drive-Ins, and Dives".

Then there was the freaking Olympics. I'm so bummed it's over. For those not in the know, I am an Olympics FANATIC. It's my favorite. Also, holy freaking Michael Phelps anybody? Yeah.
I can't remember where I found this comment, but I kept is and it cracks me up.
"Michael motha @#$%in Phelps baby!!! USA will never fall in mens swimming with Michael motha @#$%in Phelps, half a motha @#$%in dolphin baby!! USA!!!"
I'm not a Phelps fan because he is attractive (Yeah he is, but that is low on my list), I'm a huge Phelps fan because that guy is not human. He is the best freaking swimmer, olympian, athlete. The man freaking flies. Did you see him flap is arms before he started? Like a condor. I've been watching him since Sydney 2000 and I have never lost enthusiasm.
I was really bummed that Paul Hamm had to drop out. He's my second favorite (summer) Olympic athlete. At least the team did well without him.
Other than that, not too much. Keith and Katie left for Utah yesterday. Brian is moving back to Utah so he will be visiting here for a few day. So That covers what's been going on. I know, incredibly boring. Such is this life. Hopefully next month is more exciting.

Oh yeah. I got called to be a relief society teacher.

I started a new painting today. BIG MISTAKE.
It was so hot today that the paint would dry mid stroke. Then I would go to get more paint, and that too had dried. Do you understand how much paint I lost today?! Do you?! I would try to go the whole stroke, but I'd end up rubbing off what I had already painted.
I'm a very quick painter. The last painting I did took me an hour and 20 minutes, and that's only because I had to repaint the whole thing when I made a mistake. I'm not used to this slow painting. This is why I've stuck with acrylic! Bah!

Uggg... it's so wrong, but I can't fix it.

It's not going to get any cooler this summer, so I guess this painting is going to take forever.
I was also planning on fixing a painting I did earlier this year, but I guess that's being put on hold.
I freaking hate this!!

Eggs

Why I don't like them
  • Think about what they are. Just do it. I dare you.
  • They smell horrible.
  • When you can't find them at Easter, they smell even worse.
  • They taste kind of weird.
  • There is the fear of breaking one open to find a red spot, or even a half developed fetus.
  • The membrane. *shudder*
  • Getting out the tiny shells that have fallen in.
  • They kind of look like snot on the inside.
  • Under cook them and they can kill you.
  • They break too easily, and storing them is a pain.
  • Separating the white from the yolk is also a pain.

When I do enjoy them
  • Cakes, cookies, baking.
  • Meatloaf.
  • French Toast
  • Icing and such.
  • Throwing them against walls.
  • Egg yolk paint (Tempura)
  • Crushing them in my hands
  • Sometimes (main word: sometimes) I enjoy an egg salad sandwich
